Interesting ways to "Pop the Question!"
Make a list of ten reasons you'd like to marry your beloved. Read them to him or her in
from of them, or have a singing telegram deliver them, or send them written on note cards
one by one over the course of a week, the last card arriving via personal messenger....
(You!).
Convince the local theater to spell out your proposal on their marquee. Phrase it like a
film title: "The Love of a Lifetime, starring.... (insert their name here)."
Treasure hunts are a great way to go.... Send them on a hunt, with the first clue at home.
Then send them around town or around your home. When they get to the last hint, the"treasure" will be either the ring, or another sentimental token, they won't need another
clue after that!!
Spell out your proposal with refrigerator magnets.
Take your loved one to a local Fourth of July fireworks show, or concert in the park, and
have someone announce it to the town.
If you're vacationing in a warm place, (or you live in a warm place,) tie the ring onto
your new string bikini-or in the lacing of his surf shorts-and announce that you want
to take the plunge!!
Gather your families together for a summer barbecue and make your proposal a family
affair.
For Brad's favorite idea..... The classy approach!! Write your proposal in sunscreen on
your tummy, so that your tan marks make words.... She will be so touched that you have
gone to such lengths.... She will accept immediately!!!
Food would be another one of our favorite ideas.... Spell out, Will you marry me?," in
M&M's, Hershey's kisses on the kitchen table, bed or coffee table. Send him or her in to
read it; when they accept, toast your future with a sugar rush!!!
